Ryan Stone is the town golden boy, a popular baseball star jock-with secrets he can't tell anyone. Not even the friends he shares everything with, including the constant dares to do crazy things. The craziest? Asking out the Skater girl who couldn't be less interested in him.
But what begins as a dare becomes an intense attraction neither Ryan nor Beth expected. Suddenly, the boy with the flawless image risks his dreams-and his life-for the girl he loves, and the girl who won't let anyone get too close is daring herself to want it all....
Review: Another hit by Mcgarry, I like. . . no scrap that I loved this book, reading this book brought my love for pushing the limits down to a 'Really like'.
Katie Mcgarry, captured the inside of at 17 year old girls head perfectly, there wasnt a second where i though 'hey, this girl is supposed to be 17'.
The protection Beth feels she must provide for her mother is pretty much what i feel most people would do for their family.
While the story had a kind of She's all that opening storyline, it turned out ot be so much more, at times I wondered if Ryan was a man or a mouse, not just because he wouldnt stand up to his father but also for the way he went week at the knees so early on.
In most novels I usually find the main character quite annoying, but i kind of fell in love with Beth in pushing the limits and she barely annoyed me, Ryan did, but i've never been on do fall head over heals for jocks, having said that he didnt annoy me enough to make the novel unbarable. . .
So anyway, I loved this book thank you Harlequin Teen Australia for the ARC of this novel, I truly appreciate the support,
Thanks for Stopping by,
