Guest Post: Kate Cuthbert of Escape Publishing.

Hey Guys!! Back to regular posting for me, here is my first post back. We have Kate Cuthbert one of the master minds behind the newly Launched Escape publishing. Take it away Kate.

Hello Monique, Mystress of the Book! Thanks for having me on your blog to visit today an talk all things Escape Publishing. I'm very excited to be here.

So let's get down to it!  Escape Publishing is the new digital-first imprint of Harlequin Australia. Our aim is to bring Australian voices and Australian and New Zealand stories to the global market. Our books are DRM and geographic restriction free, and competitively priced. We publish all genres and styles of romance fiction – as long as it is romance fiction. That is, it's got to have that wonderful emotional romance arc, and – of course – a happy ending! You can get more information on our website: www.escapepublishing.com.au, or find us on twitter, facebook, google+, pinterest, or youtube.

But let's get to the good stuff, yeah? The books!

We launched on Wednesday the 14th of November with five titles. My job included choosing these titles, so I'm so thrilled to finally be able to talk about them! Each of these titles is on sale for a very limited time, and our erotic novella Chains of Revenge is available free. So if you want to give us a try (and we hope you do!), now is a great time to check us out.

Chains of Revenge – Keziah Hill: a very hot, very dark, very addictive erotic fantasy novella about a slave in sexual bondage who rises to become a Warlord – and take his revenge on the woman who broke his heart.

Chaos Born – Rebekah Turner: a very smart, very complex, surprisingly funny, wholly engrossing urban fantasy debut about a mercenary with a secret so dark even she doesn't know about it – but secrets are meant to be revealed. This novel introduces the gaslit world of the Applecross, its many layers, characters, and the militant religious order that seeks to control it all.

Christmas Wishes – Rhian Cahill: a very sexy, very steamy, surprisingly sweet and light-hearted holiday story about best friends realising that all they really want for Christmas is each other!

Grease Monkey Jive – Ainslie Paton: a lovely, slow-building, meaty, get-your-teeth-in, contemporary romance about a ballroom dance teacher, a mechanic, a dance competition, $50 000, friendships, family, and the power of a little sizzle.

In Safe Hands – Lee Christine: a very polished, very smart, very contemporary Sydney-set, sophisticated romantic suspense novel about a highly successful lawyer threatened by a youthful indiscretion and the ex-SAS Commander that she recruits to help her.

There you have them! So please make sure you let us know what you think! Each of the books has a survey in the back, and you can get in touch with us in all the ways I listed above!

Thanks so much for having me come visit today, and I can't wait to hear what you think of our titles.
