Because in Morganville, there is an evil that lurks in the darkest shadows - one that will spill out into the bright light of day. Claire Danvers has had enough of her nightmarish dorm situation. The popular girls never let her forget just where she ranks on the school's social scene: somewhere less than zero. And Claire really doesn't have the right connections - to the undead who run the town. When Claire heads off campus, the imposing old house where she finds a room may not be much better. Hew new roommates don't show many signs of life. But they'll have Claire's back when the town's deepest secrets come crawling out, hungry for fresh blood..

Review

While i was thinking over how to word my review on this novel i stopped by goodreads to see what other readers where saying, most loved it, but it surprised me to see alot of people comparing it to twilight. If you are going to read this book FORGET TWILIGHT. It is an insult to put Rachel in the same category as Stepanie Meyer, problem with that?
I dont care if you like twilight, i dont care if you hate it but you can not think about twilight while reading this series. this series has nothing to do with twilight, give Caine a fair go, Anyway on to my review.

May Contain Minor Spoilers

Glass house is an Exeptional first novel to a series,  really enjoyed it, infact it is the fastest i have ever read a book. I have never read a book written in third person where i had to keep checking that i really was reading third person, i felt so in Claire's head it was insane,

From the first page, we knew Claire's life would never be the same again, matter of fact, i had to wonder after the first chapter if Claire's life was going to be alive. Queen Bee Monica Morrell doesnt take to well to 16yo Claire's premeture arrival at collage and she doesnt keep it a secret.

Claire decided it was safer to get the hell out of the dorm and live off campas while she studied this is where she befriended Morgaville's resident out casts. Eve, the town Goth, Shane the hothead of the glass house. and Michael, Resident Ghost. Each character is amazing but i am always drawn back to Michael's pain and lonliness.

I was super sad when Oliver turned out to be the bad guy, i was really starting to like him.

There are so many eliments of this book that i could mention that are amazing but i want you to witness them all for your selves.

I supose if i had to pick a floor is that. . . . i dont know this is hard. how many people these guys have against them, and the ending, i am at book three now but the ending sucked, i want to say more but i cant because otherwise you wont be able to read it.

if you do read this Novel or Series let me know what you think of this novel in the comments!!
